SUBJECT:
Approval of Resolution 17-11-13 Accepting the Public Improvements of the Prairie Grass Apartments
BACKGROUND:
The Prairie Grass Apartment development consists of the apartment constructed at the north end of E. Fieldhack Drive. Consistent with the City protocol, the developer has constructed the development through the final lift of asphalt. The proposed resolution will formally accept the improvements and commence the two (2) year warranty period. Note that the developer has submitted the cash deposit for the 2 year warranty along with the attendant Cash Escrow Agreement for signature.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
Undertermined. The acceptance of these improvements transfers the maintenance responsibilities to the City from this date forward.
RECOMMENDED MOTION:
We recommend that the Common Council adopts the resolution of acceptance and allows the existing letter of credit to expire.
